Machining scope

How we cover machining

In-house at BMH

Conventional turning and vertical milling. Portable on-site milling of faces and flanges. Radial and magnetic drilling. CNC laser, plasma and flame profile cutting.

Outsourced or rented, under BMH control

Large CNC milling, CNC machining centres, CNC turning and large-diameter turning are outsourced. Large flange facing machines are rented per project. Machining drawings and tolerances are agreed before release.

Process

From plate to painted part

Cutting

CNC fibre laser 30 kW and 6 kW. CNC plasma and flame, flame up to 240 mm. CNC pipe cutting up to 630 mm dia.

Forming

Press brake 300 t, 6,000 mm. Plate rolling up to 40 mm thick, 6,000 mm wide.

Welding

Submerged arc, MIG/MAG, TIG and stud welding. Pipe welding rotators 30 t per set.

Surface treatment

Indoor shot blasting line. Blasting room 660 m². Two paint rooms, 1,320 m² in total.

Engineering support

In-house and coordinated engineering support: 3D model-based detailing and clash review, shop and fabrication drawing support, material take-off and nesting coordination, constructability and trial-assembly planning, and total-station survey for large-structure geometry. The scope is agreed for each project.
